Scott Morgan is a writer, editor, journalist, occasional speaker, infrequent party-goer, and, sadly, fan of the Baltimore Orioles. He has made movies, won awards for his journalism, edited several business and fiction manuscripts, and released two books: the nonfiction Character Development from the Inside Out  and the short fiction and poetry collection Short Stack. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two cats and is president of WriteHook, a writing services company specializing in fiction and creative nonfiction, and 4West Communications, a business-to-business communications firm. He also is working on a new nonfiction writing book and a second short fiction collection.

Character Development from the Inside Out

“Highly original . . . Entertaining . . .  Recommended for authors who wish to improve their craft.” —Mike Wells, Best-selling Author of Wild Child and Lust, Money, Murder

Compelling characters are the essence of all great fiction. No matter how plot-heavy or experimental your story might be, if readers don’t see real people (i.e., themselves) in your characters, they will unplug from your story faster than you can end a sentence.

Short Stack

Eight poems and ten short fiction stories guaranteed to make you chuckle, make you think, and make you angry. Written for the jugular — consider yourself notified.
